Keep in mind NJ HHA certifications expires every two years and therefore must be renewed.

Once certified as a HHA, you will be listed in the online directory of Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides. This directory is made available to the general public to perform a license check.

Care Right There Home Care

The mission of Care Right There Home Care is to provide purposeful employment for Home Health Professionals.

The CRT Academy has a Home Health Aide training program, located in Glassboro, NJ, consisting of 76 hours of end to end training. This program includes 60 hours of educational training and 16 hours of hands-on clinical instruction.

After training, CRT will oversee your state exam, proctored by a Registered Nurse. You will also be considered for employment by CRT Academy after successful completion of the state exam and a formal interview.

Meridian at Home

Meridian at Home is a company providing home health aide certification classes in NJ to provide high quality care to their patients.

Held in various locations within Monmouth and Ocean Counties, the 3-week long training program is held from Monday through Friday. Attendance for each class is mandatory.

To apply for the program, submit an application online. A representative from the school will call to set up an interview on the condition that there is an opening in the class. Applying does not guarantee enrollment into the training program.

You will be required to take and pass a background check and physical.

After successfully completing the training program, passing the background check and physical Meridian requires its trainees to work for them for a minimum of 6 months as part of the agreement when signing up for the program.

Sunlight Care LLC

Sunlight Care provides NJ Board of Nursing approved training to become a Certified Home Health Aide via both in-person and online formats.

Their course schedule is made up of 60 hours of classroom education and 16 hours of training. With successful completion of the training, you will have the required knowledge for certification and be on your way to a great career.

Applicants need to be 18 years of age or older, United States citizens or otherwise qualified legal aliens. You should also be able to communication proficiently in English.

Class attendance is mandatory are are held Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM for two weeks
